Delivering denim rugs today

Thank goodness, I have someone, not in a rush – because i did just that…no rush! Here is the fruit of my endless miles of denim strips. I think it looks deceptively easy.

Hi Laura,
I think they look simple, but to achieve that look took me in my peabrain, quite a bit of planning and labor. It wasn’t just haphazardly put together even tho it might appear that way. Even the warp had to be put on in the order it was created.You can see the stripes in the hem. While it didn’t make a hill of beans difference in the denim section, it was important in the hem! Desceptively simple!

The rug looks great and the hem is just fantastic.
Nice job, Mary. Wish I could have seen them. Did you make one for yourself? I like your striped hems. That was a lot of work preparing for weaving. I hope your customer was pleased. I like the striped hems.
